About all the bad Japanese

I have found it necessary to render the Japanese titles of Unicorn's songs and albums into ASCII characters favored by the Roman-script-based Web browsers like the one they use where I live. This is frequently problematic, because I speak precious little Japanese and read even less.
Still, I try. Many of the translations and transliterations you will come across on these pages were managed by me going through a book of Kanji organized by stroke count followed by a massive consultation of Martin's Concise Japanese Dictionary. I expect that I am getting many idiomatic expressions wrong and rendering some words in the Chinese pronunciation where they ought not to be. It's my hope that others whose bilingualism is stronger than mine will come along and point out the errors so I can fix them. Mail me if you spot some. |
