Off The Air

Off The Air was/is a radio program broadcast on KCSB 91.9 FM in Santa Barbara between October 1989 and June 1993.

There is a Web Page being devoted to it only because one of its creators has been led to believe that some people in the greater Santa Barbara area may be interested in facts about the program, where to get tapes from, why did we bother, and who cares.

There will be more here eventually, but for now let's just say this:
Mr. Dave LaDelfa continues to transfer programs preserved "forever" on crappy second-hand now-adhesive magnetic quarter-inch tape to presumably more durable DAT cassettes. He also makes interesting music on his eight-track.

Mr. Jon Leidecker, who now lives in San Francisco, is finishing work on his first commercial CD release, "Wobbly Greetings," made in collaboration with Jason Brown.

Mr. Chris Ball has, with his fiancée Karen, set up shop in San Francisco as well.

Mr. Ryan Gold lives in Los Angeles and makes movie trailers.

Mr. Brian Stokes lives with Jon Leidecker and Corey Johnson in San Francisco.

Mr. Alex Zisch lives in San Jose and does a radio show there.

Mr. Ted Mills resides in Tsukube, Japan, where he instructs the natives in how to pronounce the English language with his peculiar West End/SoCal hybrid accent.

Mr. Scott Easley does computer animation for Oddworld, a video game company in San Luis Obispo, California.
